Nomads Clinic
Since 1980 Nomads Clinic has been offering annual remote medical clinics in the Himalayan regions of Nepal that have little to no access to established healthcare. Each year over a thousand patients receive care from Western clinicians and Nepali physicians, with traditional healing modalities also available. Nomads Clinic travels by foot, horseback and donkey train deep into remote regions that lack roads or infrastructure. The treks are often arduous and always meaningful.
