Mountain Spirit – Kora
Kora is a Tibetan tradition of "going round," circumambulating holy places, nearby or requiring months of pilgrimage. It is considered an auspicious and respectful spiritual practice to circumambulate each stupa/chorten shrine along a trail. Photographs in this collection were made over ten years and celebrate the unique character and beauty of stupas/chortens from India to Nepal to Bhutan.
