Fire And Rain
Sep 25, 2020This image seemed to sum up so much of Summer 2020. A towering plume of smoke from a nearby forest fire and rain, high on the mountain, never quite putting out the fire, which burned for weeks. It took an unseasonal early snow to quench the fire, but the snow killed the late-summer insects, which starved the migratory birds. If that sounds like too much, it is. We have all been touched by the fires, rains, and a world increasingly out of balance.
